Why
THE PROBLEM: Desertification
Deforestation, overgrazing, overdrafting and climate change are major causes of desertification. The loss in biodiversity and disruption of ecosystems complicate the food production system and the life of domestic animals and people who depend on their direct natural surroundings.
How
THE SOLUTION: Creating Oases
Offering a possibility to enable people to restore barren land and create flourishing micro-ecosystems, allowing them to cultivate crops in areas where forest planting and agriculture are barely possible.

THE PRODUCT:
'Build Your Greenhouse'
We are developing a user-friendly build-yourself greenhouse. The controlled climate in the greenhouse allows people to plant trees, produce fruit and vegetables and feed both cattle and people.
Fight Desertification and Help Less-Privileged People
The goal of our project is to deliver a construction kit for a greenhouse to easily cultivate crops. Build Your Greenhouse should serve people who live in environments that are struck by climate change and where local agriculture is troubled by desertification or other environmental hazards.
We hope to stimulate the empowerment of the people, instead of imposing an external solution. Therefore, we are designing our greenhouse in such a way that it can be built independently and doesn’t require expensive professional installers.
When the trees are mature and strong, the greenhouse can easily be dismounted and rebuilt by the end-users on new land in order to recover additional territory.
The Product and Our Team
In our project, we have made a lot of progress. We have filed a patent and tested important technologies. Still, a lot of work is ahead of us, such as: optimizing components, perfecting the structure’s strength and installing a production and logistics chain.
We are an enthusiast team of innovators working for the company Regenerate Nature B.V. This company has the objective to save environments that have been destroyed by mankind. It aims to develop products that can regenerate nature.
